Over 40 children received free vision screenings in preparation for the new school year ๐Ÿ“–๐ŸŽ’

Today we celebrate the incredible dogs who do far more than fetch a ball or offer companionship โ€” they are trained lifelines, guiding individuals with disabilities through everyday life with loyalty, intelligence, and heart.

From helping someone with low vision cross a busy intersection to providing emotional support or retrieving dropped items, assistance dogs are heroes with paws. Their impact goes far beyond task work โ€” they empower independence, build confidence, and break down barriers.

We also want to recognize the trainers and organizations who dedicate their time and expertise to prepare these amazing animals for the important work they do.

At Vision Resources of Central PA, we see every day how life-changing a guide dog can be for someone who is blind or visually impaired. Letโ€™s raise awareness and celebrate the paws that walk beside us, not behind us. ๐Ÿ’œ
