Capital Region Veterans Coalition

Capital Region Veterans Coalition Assist, Promote, and Aid Local Veterans and Their Families through a vast network of interconnected service providers.

Through social media platforms, we will highlight people, programs, projects, and initiatives supporting veterans and families. The Capital Region Veterans Coalition works together with our members to build and strengthen our Veteran community and accomplish the shared mission to organize and coordinate support efforts within the community to facilitate wraparound services for Veterans and their families. We will accomplish this through effective and efficient communication, collaboration, and combined connections. Our collective vision is to serve our community through strategic partnerships and support all veterans shoulder to shoulder with streamlined access to community resources and service providers. By cultivating a culture of inclusion, we strive to empower all veterans to take an active role within their community. We are a coalition of veteran service organizations (VSO), corporate partners, and individual Veterans committed to helping our capital region Veteran community succeed. This coalition was formed to assist Veterans and their families to bridge the divide between where they are currently, available resources, and where they intend to be; physically, emotionally, or spiritually. Members within the coalition intend to be the conduit and provide the necessary resources to empower the Veteran community. It's that time again!!!

Join Capital Region Veterans Coalition for our 4th Annual Veterans Family Fun Day 2025!!!

This year, it will be held at Commonwealth Charter Academy Capital Campus in Harrisburg.

We will have games, fun, food, kids' activities, a bounce house, and a veteran resource fair.

New this year, we have a section for Veteran-Owned Businesses!!

Come on out for a day of fun with the family!

The servicemember does not need to be present. Families of those who have served in any branch of the Armed Services are welcome!

The Homeless and At-Risk Veterans Health Clinic at Veterans Outreach of Pennsylvania provides essential health care services to veterans in need. Healthcare services are provided by UPMC’s Street Medicine Team!

Located at 1105 S Front St, Harrisburg, PA, the clinic offers basic health care, screenings, and medication management, including refills, to ensure that our veterans receive the care they deserve.

In addition to medical services, the clinic also provides hygiene supplies, clothing, and access to showers on clinic days, fostering a sense of dignity and well-being.

The clinic operates on the 2nd Wednesday of each month from 1 PM to 4 PM, creating a welcoming environment for veterans seeking support and resources.
