I was talking with an astrologer friend today about the New Moon Blessing Book live call happening tonight, and she said,
“Wait… isn’t the New Moon next week? Why are you meeting tonight?”

I was SO GLAD she asked!
We go over this in the membership each month, but here’s the quick version:

​🌚 I don’t schedule anything outward-facing during the New Moon.

I do my best to clear my calendar the day before, the day of, and the day after each new moon. Those are sacred pause days for me, reserved for rest, reflection, and being present with what’s stirring beneath the surface.

🌚 We’re preparing the space.

Just like the Moon, we move in phases. Gathering the week before the New Moon is a way to gently wind down the current cycle and create a sacred, creative container for what’s to come. That way, your space is ready for the new moon Wishing Window - and YOU are ready to record the wishes that have already started whispering to you.

​🌚 It gives your nervous system space to engage slowly.

Instead of rushing into the New Moon with pressure to “figure it all out,” we start ahead of time. This allows your insights, desires, and creative nudges to rise in their own timing, without urgency. By the time the New Moon arrives, you’re already attuned to the possibilities of the coming cycle.

I love New Moon Blessing Book days because I get to do the process for myself and share it with this beautiful community. I’m finally ready to open that circle a little wider and bring it local, too.
