On June 18, we had the opportunity to attend the Armstrong-Indiana-Clarion Drug and Alcohol Commission’s (AICDAC) Recovery HUB conference.

The event brought together providers and organizations to strengthen recovery support services in Western Pennsylvania. We appreciated the chance to connect with SCAs, RCOs, grassroots organizations, and other partners committed to expanding access to recovery resources through training and technical assistance.

We at the RHRC are proud to support and learn from initiatives that advance recovery efforts and build stronger, healthier communities.

We're excited to introduce Julian, a project manager who brings a wealth of expertise to the RHRC, drawing on a strong foundation in healthcare, technology, and consulting. His strengths in optimizing workflows, leading cross-functional teams, and delivering results on time and within budget make him a vital asset to our mission-driven work. Known for his adaptability, collaborative mindset, and innovative approach, Julian helps ensure our initiatives are both efficient and impactful.

Earlier last month, the RHRC was proud to participate in the NHA/NeRHA Rural Health Conference, where healthcare leaders from across Nebraska and beyond gathered for education, networking, and collaboration. Our Regional Liaison, Ken Harman, represented the RHRC at our exhibit booth, connecting with hospital administrators, finance professionals, HR leaders, and others committed to advancing rural health. We’re grateful for the opportunity to be part of such a dynamic event and to continue supporting the vital work of rural hospitals.

We are pleased to introduce Jarvis Gray, Strategic Planning Leader at the Rural Health Redesign Center (RHRC). With nearly two decades of expertise in strategic planning, quality improvement, and operational leadership within the healthcare sector, Jarvis is a key asset to our team.

Jarvis is renowned for his ability to facilitate strategic decisions and drive successful initiatives, earning him a reputation as a pivotal resource for organizations aiming to enhance their operational efficiencies and healthcare delivery. At the RHRC, he leads efforts to develop and implement strategic planning processes that support rural hospitals and healthcare providers in improving service quality, health outcomes, and patient experiences, while also focusing on cost efficiency and waste reduction.

We are excited to have Jarvis on our team and look forward to the impactful work he will continue to do at the RHRC.

We're proud to share that the RHRC has received funding from the Pennsylvania Legislature to drive the next generation of rural health sustainability and payment reform efforts!

This funding will help the RHRC strengthen the sustainability of rural healthcare by advancing innovative alternative payment models through partnership with stakeholders.

Jaquesha is an experienced public health leader and healthcare professional specializing in rural health initiatives and community health program development. Her background includes spearheading innovative development programs and managing critical healthcare access initiatives, ensuring the highest level of quality care for all. She brings expertise in health policy and a particular focus on addressing healthcare access disparities in rural communities. Thank you for all you do, Jaquesha!
