📸 Retro Day at Aspire!

Throwing it back to 2009 with our co-founders, Dr. Rayner and Dr. White — the visionaries who helped build Aspire from the ground up.

From day one, their shared commitment to accessible, patient-centered care has shaped who we are today. What started as a vision has grown into a practice rooted in compassion, quality, and community.

Here’s to honoring where we began — and continuing to build on that foundation every single day.

Staying on track with medications isn’t always easy — especially when life gets busy.

For our Medicare patients, medication adherence plays an important role in managing chronic conditions like high blood pressure, diabetes, and high cholesterol. Even small gaps can impact long-term health.

That’s why Aspire partners with Aledade to provide added support. On our behalf, Aledade sends monthly newsletters and may conduct pharmacy outreach to eligible patients to assist with refills, address cost concerns, and answer medication-related questions.

These efforts are designed to make managing your health simpler.

If you ever have questions about your prescriptions or refills, our Aspire team is here to help. 💙

Today we’re recognizing Traci’s 9th work anniversary at Aspire. 🎉

For nine years, Traci has been a consistent and dependable member of our team. As a Medical Assistant, she brings experience, steadiness, and a willingness to help wherever needed. She supports her providers, collaborates well with her peers, and contributes to the teamwork that keeps our days moving.

We’re grateful for the role she plays within our group and the care she helps deliver to our patients.

Thank you, Traci, for nine years of dedication to Aspire. 💙

Sodium and High Blood Pressure — Here’s the Key:

If you have hypertension, aim for 1,500–2,000 mg of sodium per day. Most excess sodium comes from processed and restaurant foods — not the salt shaker.

Common hidden sources:
• Bread
• Deli meats
• Canned soups
• Frozen meals
• Sauces & dressings

Lowering sodium can reduce blood pressure by 5–10 points — sometimes without adding medication.

Quick swaps: choose “no salt added,” rinse canned beans, and season with herbs instead of salt.

Small changes make a big difference.

We love welcoming new providers to Aspire — and we love it even more when our patients feel heard and cared for from their very first visit.

Thank you for the kind words about Melissa Sellars, CRNP. Creating a space where patients don’t feel rushed, feel listened to, and leave encouraged is exactly the experience we strive for every day.

If you haven’t met Melissa yet, we invite you to schedule a visit and experience the difference for yourself. 💙

❤️ Wellness Wednesday | Heart Month ❤️

February is Heart Month — a reminder that small daily choices make a big difference in your long-term health.

According to the American Heart Association, heart disease remains the leading cause of death — but many risk factors are preventable.

This week, focus on one heart-healthy habit:
• Take a 20-minute walk
• Swap processed snacks for whole foods
• Check your blood pressure
• Prioritize sleep

Your heart works for you 24/7. A little attention now can mean a lot later.

At Aspire, we believe health is more than physical — it’s mental and emotional, too.

One book we often recommend is The Four Agreements by Don Miguel Ruiz.

Its four simple principles — be impeccable with your word, don’t take things personally, don’t make assumptions, and always do your best — offer practical tools for reducing stress and improving relationships.

Small mindset shifts can have a powerful impact on overall well-being. This is a quick, meaningful read that many of our patients have found helpful.
