🔶This month is COPD Awareness Month🔶
COPD is a chronic lung disease that damages the airways and air sacs in the lungs, causing airflow obstruction and inflammation.
Smoking is the primary cause of COPD, but other things such as air pollution, and genetic factors can also be a cause.
Stopping smoking is a big way to help your COPD, also talking to your doctor and take steps with medications and treatments are more ways to help you on your COPD journey.

According the the CDC, Antibiotic and antifungal drugs are valuable tools for treating infections, but their use can contribute to antimicrobial resistance.
Antimicrobial Resistance the ability of microorganisms, such as bacteria, viruses, fungi, and parasites, to resist the effects of antimicrobials, such as antibiotics, antifungals, and antiviral drugs
The next time you are sick, be sure to discuss with your doctor what the best course of action is for your specific illness.

This Month is National Diabetes Month
During this month, we want to take a moment and highlight some important things when it comes to being a diabetic.
Today we want to talk about foot and eye health.
Did you know your eyes and feet are closely connected when it comes to diabetes? 👁️👣
High blood sugar can damage blood vessels and nerves throughout the body, especially in the eyes and lower legs.
That means vision changes and foot problems like slow-healing sores or numbness often share the same cause.
Having diabetic eye disease may increase your risk for foot ulcers, and vice versa.
That’s why it’s so important to:
✅ Keep blood sugar, cholesterol, and blood pressure under control
✅ Schedule regular eye and foot exams
✅ Check your feet daily for cuts, blisters, or color changes

Taking care of your diabetes helps protect your health from head to toe. 💙
