"On December 26, 2025, at 03:42 hours, York County 911 dispatchers alerted the York City Department of Fire/Rescue Services for a structure fire at 971 Edison Street. While en route, dispatchers upgraded the call to a structure fire with entrapment. Upon arrival, crews confirmed a working fire with reported trapped residents.

Fire crews were able to successfully rescue the two occupants of the home and brought both victims to EMS providers, who treated them for cardiac arrest. Against all odds, the EMS providers were able to successfully achieve ROSC for both victims.

Your actions are in the highest tradition of the emergency services, and I am pleased to award you this letter of commendation. - Adam E. Smith - Fire Chief."

🚑 Advancing Patient Care with New Technology ❤️‍🩹

LifeTeam EMS is proud to share that we have continued the rollout of our newly acquired ZOLL Medical Corporation Zenix Cardiac Monitor. As of this afternoon, the Zenix monitor has been fully deployed across our York County market.

To date, this new cardiac monitor is helping us deliver an even higher level of patient care throughout Dauphin County, Perry County, and York County—supporting our providers with advanced monitoring capabilities and helping ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
