Our Upper Dauphin and Perry County crews have been working hard alongside our mutual aid partners to keep their skills sharp and teamwork strong!

📍 Last week, our Upper Dauphin units participated in an Active Assailant Hostile Event exercise, putting coordinated response plans into action in a high-intensity scenario.

📍 This week, our Perry County units came together for a Stress-Induced Competency Assessment, testing critical thinking, decision-making, and clinical skills under pressure.

These joint training opportunities ensure we’re always ready—no matter the call, no matter the challenge. 💪

We had an amazing time participating in National Night Out events all across our response area! In York, Adams, Dauphin/Perry and everywhere in between, our crews were out in full force connecting with the communities we proudly serve.

It was a great opportunity to team up with local police, fire departments, and community organizations to promote safety, build relationships, and showcase the incredible work being done every day by first responders.

As someone who has been a healthcare professional both clinical and corporate for 19 years, many of you know my why: I lost my father to sudden cardiac arrest when I was just 14 years old. I tried to help, but I had no CPR training at the time. Years later, I recognized the warning signs in my uncle and got him to the hospital just in time before he went into cardiac arrest. Those two moments changed my life.
