Gemstone Human Services is 𝐍𝐎𝐖 𝐇𝐈𝐑𝐈𝐍𝐆 for 𝐈𝐌𝐌𝐄𝐃𝐈𝐀𝐓𝐄 Direct Support Professionals in Lebanon County!

Services are provided throughout the week during various scheduled days and times. Hours vary for each position. Hours are determined based upon client needs. Current hours available include:

1. 9am-2pm (Monday, Wednesday, Friday) and 9am-1pm (Tuesday and Thursday)

2. 1:30pm-5:30pm (Tuesday) and 1:30pm-4:30 pm (Wednesday and Thursday)

3. 4:30pm-6:30pm (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday) and 3:30pm-7:00pm (Thursday and Friday)

4. 9am-2pm (Monday through Friday)

This position is flexible and no experience is necessary! Employees receive 𝒘𝒆𝒆𝒌𝒍𝒚 𝒑𝒂𝒚 and have the opportunity to receive 𝒃𝒐𝒏𝒖𝒔 𝒑𝒂𝒚 for recruiting new staff! All employees will also be eligible to take part in a 𝑻𝒖𝒊𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝑫𝒊𝒔𝒄𝒐𝒖𝒏𝒕 𝑷𝒓𝒐𝒈𝒓𝒂𝒎 for select undergraduate, graduate, certificate, and degree completion programs.

Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) work with individuals who have been diagnosed with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. DSPs are responsible for providing one-on-one In-Home and Community-based services, including habilitation, companionship, and/or respite services.

Direct Support Professionals provide guidance and support in helping individuals gain independence, interdependence, and community integration.

Core Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide services to each person in their home and/or their community according to their Individual Support Plan (ISP).
- Participate in implementing the Individual Support Plan (ISP) designed to enhance the individual’s social, emotional, cognitive, physical, and independent living skills.
- Assist individuals in the development of appropriate behavioral, social, money management, housekeeping, hygiene, and other skills based on outcomes in the Individual Support Plan (ISP).
- Complete and submit all daily progress notes and timesheets in a timely and professional manner, in accordance with Gemstone Human Services guidelines.
- Provide transportation for the person to local community outings or scheduled appointments in direct support staff's personal vehicle.
- Work independently with minimal supervision in the person’s home or local community.

Special Requirements:
Staff must have a valid current driver’s license, vehicle registration, vehicle insurance, and access to a reliable vehicle to attend trainings, meetings, and/or transport each person to their appointments.

COVID-19 considerations:
To keep our staff and clients as safe as possible, contact will be made with each client prior to scheduled shifts to ensure household members are free of any symptoms related to COVID-19. Staff will be provided with masks to wear during shift.

Gemstone Human Services es una empresa dedicada a el servicio de cuidado de personas con discapacidad intelectual, física , autistas, personas con problemas mentales, al igual que personas ancianas. Los servicios se proveen en el hogar del cliente al igual que en la comunidad (asistiendo los clientes a hacer compras de comida, conduciéndolos a sus citas medicas etc). Actualmente estamos contratando varias personas hombres y mujeres para diferentes posiciones que tenemos en la ciudad de Lebanon, PA al igual que en la ciudad de Harrisburg, PA. Tenemos varios clientes de habla Hispana en busca de cuidadores que hablen Español. Los requisitos para el trabajo son los siguientes:

1-Tener un record criminal limpio

2-Tener una licencia válido de conducir en el estado de Pennsylvania

3-Ser responsable y estar dispuesto a hacer una diferencia positiva en la vida de nuestros clientes.

Gemstone Human Services is 𝗡𝗢𝗪 𝗛𝗜𝗥𝗜𝗡𝗚 for 𝗜𝗠𝗠𝗘𝗗𝗜𝗔𝗧𝗘 part-time Direct Support Professionals in Dauphin County! Hours needed include Mondays (4pm-8pm), Tuesdays (4pm-8pm), Wednesdays (4pm-8pm), Thursdays (4pm-8pm), Fridays (4pm-8pm), Saturdays (7:30am-2:30pm and 4pm-8pm), and Sundays (7:30am-2:30pm and 4pm-8pm). Personal care and hoyer lift experience is required. It is expected that you are comfortable with providing hands on personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, etc.

- Work independently with minimal supervision in the person’s home.
