College students are encouraged to apply for the $1,500 John Leeser Scholarship today!

The PNA Foundation will recognize two Pennsylvania college or university students majoring in , , , marketing, digital sales, social media, or related majors with the John G. Leeser, Jr. Scholarship.

The two $1,500 awards will be presented at the Student Keystone Media Awards Luncheon on April 14 at the Best Western Premier The Central Hotel in Harrisburg.

Across the commonwealth, newspapers are marking Black History Month with special coverage that underscores the lasting impact of Black Americans on their communities, the state and the nation.

PNA is highlighting two of Pennsylvania’s Black-owned newspapers, the New Pittsburgh Courier and The Spirit Newspaper, and the distinctive ways they are observing the month’s significance.

PNA is partnering with The A-Mark Foundation to present the A-Mark Prize for Investigative Journalism in Pennsylvania, offering cash awards totaling up to $15,000.

The competition supports investigative reporting by providing resources for Pennsylvania reporters and their newsrooms.

The prize is included in the Professional Keystone Media Awards Contest and must be submitted through the online contest system.
