We are excited to announce that we were able to bring our little girl home this week! To everyone who has supported our adoption journey in any way, we just wanted to say thank you from the bottom of our hearts. It’s been quite the journey but we are already thankful for the wait as God orchestrated all the details to bring sweet K to us. 💕

Another Anne Wilson concert in the books for Cassidy and I! We had awesome seats and Cassidy declared it as the best concert she’s even been to (perhaps because Anne waved at her 😉). The opening act was great too and I don’t think Cassidy will ever wash that flannel. 🤣

Grateful for what an amazing role model she is for young girls. Her testimony comes from tragedy and it’s always a reminder that God can bring good out of heartbreak. 💜

What a gorgeous fall weekend it’s been! We loved having people over last night. I didn’t get many pictures but the kids had a blast choosing a pumpkin from the “pumpkin patch” to carve. We finished up with s’mores and a movie night! Would keep this weather year round if I could! 🍁🔥 🍎 🎃

It’s been awhile since we’ve posted but we have been busy working on our kitchen this past week. Lots of changes happening but we were super excited to get new countertops yesterday! Can’t wait to see it come together once the cabinets are painted.

Today, Paul and I had the chance to head down to IKEA and get some ideas (and new furniture) before trying out P.F. Chang’s for the first time. It was delicious! Hope you’re enjoying your (likely rainy) weekend as well. ❤️

The weather has been gorgeous this week! We had fun checking out a new playground, riding bikes, and visiting with chickens and goats today. Hope you’ve been enjoying the outdoors as well! 🍁 🐓 🍎

We love fall! The warm days and cool nights, the beautiful leaves, pumpkin and apple season, and so many fun activities to enjoy! We are hopeful for some beautiful changes over the next few months but are resting in God’s plans for our family. 🍁 🍎 🎃 🔥 🍁

Before the kids’ school schedule changed, we always spent this week at the beach. 🏖️ Thankful for FB memories as well as my grandparents who were so influential in teaching me about love and the importance of actively enjoying time with my kids! ❤️ Miss them both so much but forever grateful for all the years they let us “talk them into” coming to the beach with us. 💞

While we never planned to homeschool, we feel so blessed that we continue to have this opportunity! Both kids love it and are thriving! I believe one of the reasons for this is that we have such an amazing local community of homeschoolers and there are lots of activities and classes to get involved in. Ten years ago, the kids started their first co-op. What’s the chance that I’ll get cute pictures like this tomorrow when they head back for another year? ❤️
