Hey everyone! I know I have been kinda quiet lately about my recovery. Honestly, I have still been struggling with pain. Not the nerve pain, but a different type of pain that I'm not sure how to explain exactly. I am working with an occupational therapist and Dr. Mayland with hopes to get this pain under control. OT suggests giving my new exercises a try for 2-3 more weeks. As much as I wish I could be back helping people; I also can't rush back into it, especially if I plan on massaging longer.

I appreciate everyone's thoughts, prayers, good vibes and patience during this time! ❤️

Happy Saturday everyone!

I had my post op appointment this past Wednesday and they said all my incisions are healing nicely and any pain I am still experiencing is considered normal at this stage! I did visit with an occupational therapist as well and he said my strength is not great 😬 He gave me some tools and exercises to do to help strengthen my hands back up. As long as I continue to improve, he believes I will be back to massaging in 4-6 weeks 🤞

Round 2 is done! Pain is a little more intense than my left arm was and my fingers are quite tingly. Dr. told my husband this arm was way tighter too and my nerve was wrapped around my funny bone! Just shows I work my arms good doing what I do, right? 😂 here's to happy healing!

Well, I'm going in for some hand and arm maintenance, with a carpal tunnel release and cubital tunnel release! 🖐️ My first surgery will be on November 20th and second one 2 weeks later, so I will be out of commission for a while. I plan on focusing on some much needed selfcare while I recover from surgery and get back to 100%. I will be sure to rest up and then get back into action come January! 💪 Looking forward to a smooth recovery and new year! 🎉

Please schedule your December and January appointments with Betty, Amy, Reese or if there any back up therapist you go to while I am out!

All appointments scheduled up until Nov. 20th are still set!
