🌟 March is Brain Injury Awareness Month! 🌟

This month, we come together to raise awareness about brain injuries and their impact on individuals and families. Brain injuries can happen in many ways, from sports and accidents to falls or medical conditions. Yet, despite how common they are, many still don't fully understand the challenges that come with them.

Let's take the time to educate ourselves, support those affected, and spread the word about prevention and recovery!

Let's start out this Monday with some success!
In July of 2021, Robert W. came to Living Unlimited for support obtaining competitive employment through a referral from the Pennsylvania Office of Vocational Rehabilitation(OVR). After successfully completing several community-based work assessments to determine his vocational strengths and challenges, Robert began job development services. Due to his rural location, job development and securing employment in his community proved to be a challenge. Robert and the Living Unlimited team did not give up but instead worked hard to set up interviews in his area. In July 2024, Robert was successfully placed at Summit Ridge Farms. After several months of employment, OVR considered this a successful case closure in December of 2024. Robert remains successfully employed as of March 2025!
