About the Role
We’re looking for a Rehabilitation Specialist (Level 2) to join our team. In this role, you’ll provide direct support to individuals, help develop skills for independence, and advocate for client needs in their communities and workplaces.

Key Responsibilities

Assess client needs and create personalized rehabilitation plans

Provide one-on-one support and guidance

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team for holistic care

Facilitate community outings, skill-building, and employment support

Monitor progress, document outcomes, and adjust plans

Transport clients as needed 🚗 (mileage reimbursed at IRS rate)

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in human services, rehabilitation, social sciences, or related field (required)

OR Associate’s degree with 1+ year of relevant experience

Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle

Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and organizational skills

Excellent written and verbal communication

Ability to work independently and within a team

Completion of ACRE certification after hire

Let's start out this Monday with some success!
In July of 2021, Robert W. came to Living Unlimited for support obtaining competitive employment through a referral from the Pennsylvania Office of Vocational Rehabilitation(OVR). After successfully completing several community-based work assessments to determine his vocational strengths and challenges, Robert began job development services. Due to his rural location, job development and securing employment in his community proved to be a challenge. Robert and the Living Unlimited team did not give up but instead worked hard to set up interviews in his area. In July 2024, Robert was successfully placed at Summit Ridge Farms. After several months of employment, OVR considered this a successful case closure in December of 2024. Robert remains successfully employed as of March 2025!
