If you’re trying to eat healthy, you might wonder…

“Do I really need vitamins?”

The truth is that supplements are not meant to replace a healthy diet. Whole foods will always be the foundation of good nutrition. Always start there.

But there are a few reasons many people still benefit from nutritional support:

• Soil quality isn’t what it used to be
Modern farming practices have reduced the nutrient density of many foods.

• Busy lifestyles
Even people with the best intentions don’t eat perfectly every day.

• Increased stress
Stress can increase the body’s need for certain nutrients.

• Absorption changes as we age
Our bodies often absorb nutrients less efficiently over time.

Think of vitamins less as a replacement for healthy eating…
and more as nutritional support to help fill in the gaps.

Tomorrow I’ll share a simple way I like to think about my multivitamin that helps explain this concept.

One of my favorite ways to share wellness education is in small, conversational settings like this.

This group of women created such a thoughtful space to talk about health, habits, and aging well together.

These kinds of conversations are where real change begins.

There are some moments in this work that just fill my cup… and this weekend was one of them.

A few years ago, I met a wonderful woman while cheering on our girls at volleyball tournaments. Her granddaughter has played on the same club team as my daughter for the last few years. Between games we chat, catch up, and over time have gotten to know each other.

Recently she invited me to come speak at one of her tea gatherings that she hosts for a group of close friends. After looking through my list of wellness presentations, we decided that my “Fountain of Youth” talk would be the perfect fit for their group.

Nine women gathered together around this beautiful tea table, and what followed was one of the most engaging conversations I’ve had in a while.

These ladies asked thoughtful questions, shared personal experiences, encouraged one another, and brought so much wisdom into the discussion.

We talked about:
• habits that support long-term health
• foods that nourish the body as we age
• everyday lifestyle choices that help prevent disease
• practical strategies to support energy, strength, and longevity

This group of women clearly cares deeply about their health… and about each other.

I hope they walked away with some helpful ideas, but even more than that, I hope the conversation inspires continued action.

Because investing in your health as you age is one of the most powerful choices you can make.

And honestly… I hope I’m lucky enough to have a circle of friends like this as the years go on - women who lift each other up, support one another, and continue prioritizing health together through every season of life.

What a special afternoon.
Thank you, Linda. 💛

One thing I heard from people who are making awesome changes and cooking more of their meals at home is:

“I want to upgrade my kitchen tools… but I have no idea where to start.”

Should you swap pans first?
Utensils?
Food storage?

And what materials are actually safest?

So I created a FREE Kitchen Swap Resource Guide to make this easier.

Inside I walk through:

• Materials to avoid (and why)
• Safer cookware options
• Better utensil choices
• Non-toxic food storage swaps
• How to transition without blowing your budget

Because improving your health shouldn’t feel overwhelming.

Let’s play a quick kitchen game.

If you could only replace ONE thing in your kitchen first, what would it be?

A. Pans
B. Cooking utensils
C. Food storage containers
D. Cutting boards

A lot of people want to switch to safer kitchen tools… but they get stuck because they don’t know where to start.

And replacing everything at once can feel overwhelming (and expensive).

I’m curious what you’d choose first. Drop your letter below!👇

You might already know this…

Cooking at home is one of the best things you can do for your health.

More nutrients.
More control over ingredients.
Less ultra-processed food.

But here’s something many people don’t think about:

The tools we use in the kitchen matter too.

Your pans.
Your cooking utensils.
Your food storage.

Some materials can actually leach chemicals into food when heated or scratched.

And when you’re trying to make healthier meals for yourself or your family… this all adds up.

The good news?

You don’t have to replace everything at once.
Small swaps over time can make a big difference.

Curious… have you ever looked into what your cookware is made from?

Today’s reminder…
If I want to show up as my best self for the people I serve, I have to take care of myself first.

For my coaching clients.
For my shoppers in my wellness community.
For my own family.

If I want to be the kind of mom I hope to be, my cup has to be full.

If I want to stay strong enough to care for my family and the people around me, I have to protect my health - mentally and physically.

And if I truly want to serve God and do the work He’s called me to do, then I have to take care of the one body He gave me.

It’s sooooo easy to let an entire day pass just staying busy… answering messages, checking off tasks, serving others, handling responsibilities.

But when we ignore what we actually need - movement, fresh air, quiet, rest, just to name a few - who really wins?
Not us.
And not the people we care about.

The weather has been so nice, so this week I got off the treadmill and stepped outside for a walk… and even worked in my first light jog of 2026.

Just a reminder that taking care of ourselves isn’t selfish.
It’s part of the job. 💛(Even if you aren't a Health Coach!)

I love when clients share their experiences in their own words.

Michele and I have worked together for quite a while now. And like many people on a health journey, her progress hasn’t been perfectly linear.

We all have seasons where life pulls us a bit off track.

But the important part?
She keeps coming back.

She keeps learning.
She keeps making adjustments.
And each time she recommits, she builds more momentum and makes gains.

When she joined my recent 21-day challenge again, she noticed renewed energy, less inflammation, and meaningful progress with her weight.

And that’s exactly why I believe so strongly in support and accountability.

Real life happens.
No one does this perfectly.

Sometimes the win is simply deciding to start again.

Curious… can you see a little bit of yourself in Michele’s story?

If I’m going to encourage clients to invest in their health,
I need to invest in my education.

I always have two books going at once:

• One for enjoyment
• One for professional growth

Just finished reading The New Menopause - fully tabbed and annotated.

The world of health and wellness is constantly evolving, especially when it comes to women’s health.

What was taught 10 years ago isn’t always what the data supports today.

That’s why I combine:

• Books
• Research
• Podcasts
• Clinical experience
• Real conversations with clients

Staying current isn’t optional in this field.
It’s a responsibility.

My goal isn’t to know everything. It’s to stay curious & informed so I can serve better.

Spring speaking season is kicking off 🌱
Between March and June I’ll be presenting several wellness talks for local groups and organizations.

Topics I’m covering include things like:
• Stress & energy
• Sleep support
• Focus & productivity
• Everyday wellness habits that actually stick

Some events are private for organizations, but several are free and open to the public.

If one of these topics interests you, just send me a message or comment INFO and I’ll let you know if there’s a public session coming up.

I always love meeting new people at these events!

We don’t get healthy by hoping.

We get healthy by being intentional. By setting aside time for our own self-care.

People don't “accidentally” build strong bloodwork results.
People don't “accidentally” improve their energy.
People don't “accidentally” feel better year after year.

Health is built on purpose.

It’s the daily decisions:
• What you put on your plate
• How you manage stress
• Whether you move your body
• When you go to bed
• When you decide to use products with less toxins

As we head into a new season (hello, spring 🌿), it’s a good reminder:

You don’t need a total overhaul. You need intention.

Small choices. Repeated consistently. With a plan.

Your health isn’t something you cross your fingers for.
It’s something you participate in.
