Beautiful!! Be FREE!
                                        Let me tell you...
Often, we are trying so hard to 'heal'
And we forget how to live.
We forget how to cherish the moments.
Unconsciously, we became consumers of 'healing'. Consumerism is everywhere.
Healing and Spirituality can become just another thing we consume.
If 'healing' becomes an obsession
it will become the obstacle you try so hard to overcome.
Because on the top of your mind
You will be constantly reminded
That something is 'wrong' with you.
The world is now accustomed,
Wrongly accepting
The pathologizing of our humanness...
Be aware, sisters!
So, today... put 'healing' aside and live.
Go out in nature.
Listen to the birds.
Watch the sky.
All is well, beautiful sisters
Healing cannot become a religion
For the harder we try
The more oppressive it becomes.
Instead, read a poem.
Write a poem and read it to a friend.
That which we call 'healing' is an organic process.
Your Soul knows what you need.
This 'healing' is indeed a practice of remembering.
I am also guilty of making my 'healing' a chore
No different than doing the dishes or washing the floor.
But even these chores are not constant.
'Healing' can then become a replacement for other addictions.
To make 'healing' sacred, not profane
We must forget not how to live...
In the moment
Free of striving...
Free of wanting...
Just being with what is.
Here, in the west, our culture left us with holes
We are constantly trying to fill...
And then, they become even deeper
Through the superficiality
Of a world of façade
Without substance or soul.
It is not our fault.
It is not your fault.
In the eastern cultures,
Humans are taught early on
That they are whole.
Not fragmented,
As everything is in the world of Descartes.
Because this is the wounding we inherited
From the narrow view of western philosophy.
So, today free yourself from 'healing'.
If you read any self help book, make it pleasant
Let the knowledge you acquire do its magic.
Learn, but don't obsess.
You are free.
As the birds in the sky.
As a tree with deep roots.
As a Soul that knows it all.....................................
