The Pennsylvania Health Care Cost Containment Council (PHC4) seeks a Financial Analyst to support healthcare cost transparency and reporting across the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

💼 Full-time | 📍 Harrisburg, PA (Hybrid) | 💰 Starting salary $51,971 and comprehensive state benefits package including medical, dental, vision & prescription coverage.

In this role you will support the collection, analysis, and reporting of financial data from health care facilities across the Commonwealth, contributing to data-driven transparency, accountability, and cost containment in Pennsylvania’s health care system.

Responsibilities:
• Collect, verify, and analyze hospital and ambulatory surgery center financial data.
• Prepare annual financial reports and analytical summaries for policymakers and stakeholders.
• Review and process financial statements and audit documents for accuracy and compliance.
• Support facility staff with financial data submissions and reporting requirements.
• Use financial and statistical tools to evaluate health care, payer, and utilization trends.
• Conduct research on health care finance trends and maintain statewide financial databases.
• Present findings and contribute to PHC4 reports and publications.

Qualifications:
• Coursework in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Health Administration (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred).
• Experience in financial analysis, data reporting, or health care finance.
• Proficiency in Excel, statistical tools, and database management.
• Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of health care finance and regulatory reporting preferred.
