Coaching my son Ethan’s baseball team has been one of the most rewarding experiences. ⚾️

There’s nothing better than watching these kids grow—not just as players, but in confidence, teamwork, and character. Being able to spend this time with Ethan, help guide him, and be part of these memories means everything to me.

Baseball is more than just wins and losses—it’s about lessons, discipline, hard work, and having fun along the way. Proud of this team and grateful for every practice, every game, and every moment on the field.

Wouldn’t trade it for anything. 💙⚾️

Strengthening the Knee for Chronic Knee Pain 💪🦵

Chronic knee pain often comes from weakness in the smaller stabilizing muscles—not just the big ones. Today we focused on testing and strengthening the popliteus muscle, a key stabilizer on the back of the knee that helps prevent bone shearing, unlocks the knee during walking, and reduces excess stress on the patellar tendon.

By performing a targeted strengthening maneuver and retesting, we were able to improve knee stability and help reduce pain and discomfort. When the right muscles fire properly, the knee functions better and feels stronger with everyday movement.

Stay tuned to see what other treatments we use to help relieve chronic knee pain and restore stability! 🙌

Strengthening Quads and Hip Flexors for Chronic Knee Pain 🌟

Chronic knee pain often comes from weakness and poor muscle activation—not just the joint itself. Today, we focused on strengthening the quadriceps and psoas (hip flexor) muscles to improve knee stability and reduce pain. 🙌

By applying pressure to the patella tendon and quad muscles, we help reset muscle spindle fibers and Golgi tendon organs, allowing the muscles to activate properly again. This can help reduce crunching sensations in the knee, improve movement, and create better support for the lower back by strengthening the hip flexors that stabilize the spine from the front.

Stronger muscles = better support, less pain, and improved function. Stay tuned to see what other treatments we use to keep chronic knee pain improving!

Testing Knee Strength and Stability 🔍

Today we focused on the popliteus muscle, a small but powerful stabilizer at the back of the knee that helps prevent unwanted bone movement and “unlocks” the knee during walking.

We tested both sides through resisted foot rotation and controlled knee bends with the foot turned outward — revealing weakness in the inner quadriceps on one side, a common contributor to knee pain and instability.

From there, we performed gentle joint traction to help decompress the knee, restore proper movement, and re-engage those inner quad muscles to build a stronger, more stable foundation.💪

Stay tuned to see what other treatments we use to tackle this issue and keep the progress going. 👀

Low Back Pain Relief with Dry Needling ⚡️

Today’s focus: targeting deep muscle & joint tension in the low back using dry needling — and taking it a step further with electrical stimulation.

We located key trigger points in the lower lumbar muscles & sacroiliac joints, used precise needling techniques to release tightness, improve blood flow, and restore proper muscle & joint function. By adding gentle electrical stimulation, we’re able to create deeper muscle contractions, helping reset the nervous system and break stubborn pain patterns more effectively.

💥 Benefits include but not limited to:
• Reduced pain and muscle tightness
• Improved mobility and flexibility
• Enhanced muscle activation
• Promotes faster recovery

If low back pain has been holding you back, this combination can be a game changer.

Dry Needling with Electrical Stimulation for Neck & Upper Back Pain ⚡️

Taking things a step further in today’s session — we combined dry needling with electrical stimulation to get even deeper results. 🙌

After locating key trigger points in the neck, upper back, and shoulders, the needles are placed directly into the tight muscle tissue. From there, we hook up gentle electrical stimulation, allowing the current to travel as deep as the needle itself — reaching areas we can’t access with hands alone.

This helps create rhythmic muscle contractions, improves blood flow, releases stubborn tension, and promotes faster healing at a deeper level. 💪

A powerful way to reset the muscle, reduce pain, and restore movement.
