🌿 Today Is More Than Just a Date—It’s a Call to Action. 🌿 August 31 closes out National Wellness Month, a time dedicated to nurturing our mental, emotional, and physical well-being. But it also marks International Overdose Awareness Day, a global movement to remember lives lost and reduce the stigma surrounding substance use.
💜 Let’s honor both. Let’s talk wellness and remembrance. 💜
Drop a 💧 emoji in the comments if you’ve taken a moment for self-care this month. 🕯️ Drop a 🕯️ emoji if you’re remembering someone affected by overdose. 💬 Or share a word that represents your journey this August.
✨Wellness isn’t just bubble baths and green smoothies—it’s boundaries, therapy, connection, and healing. It’s also about grieving, growing, and supporting each other through the hard stuff. Today, we invite you to reflect on how far you've come, and how we can move forward—together.
📣 Let’s build a wall of wellness and remembrance. Comment. Share. Tag someone who inspires your healing. Let’s make today count.

CPS workers play a vital role in the PADOC by supporting other inmates and being able to share their own experiences on their path to mental health recovery and wellness.
