Today, we honor a legacy that reminds us that healing is both personal and collective. Dr. King’s mission for equality wasn’t just about policy—it was about the radical practice of empathy, courage, and mental resilience.

As we reflect today, let’s ask ourselves: How can we lead with more compassion in our own circles? How can we be the “light” in our community? 🕊️

Your brain has a built-in “happiness hack” and it’s completely free. 🧠✨

It’s easy to think we only smile because we’re happy—but science shows it actually works in reverse, too! By simply moving those facial muscles, you trigger a “feel-good cocktail” of Dopamine, Serotonin, and Endorphins. 🧪

Think of it as a physical reset for a stressful day.

Today’s Challenge:
1️⃣ Catch yourself in the mirror and give yourself a genuine smile.
2️⃣ Watch your cortisol levels drop.
3️⃣ Pass the vibe along to someone else!

Tag a friend you want to share a smile with.😁

It’s not just in your head. Between the 24-hour news cycle and algorithms that thrive on outrage, our brains are being constantly told to stay in “fight or flight” mode. It’s exhausting.

If you feel like you’re losing control to the noise, here are 5 ways to reclaim your peace:
1️⃣ Mute the Noise 🤳
Algorithms prioritize fear because it keeps you clicking. Take back control by setting “no-phone” zones in your day and being picky about your information sources.
2️⃣ Find Your Tribe 🫂
Isolation is anxiety’s best friend. Whether it’s volunteering in or joining a local hobby group, community reminds us that we aren’t alone.
3️⃣ Micro-Acts of Connection 👋
You don’t need a grand gesture. A “hello” to a neighbor or a genuine “thank you” to your barista creates a ripple of kindness that settles your own nervous system, too.
4️⃣ The 60-Second Reset 🧘
When the dread creeps in, breathe. Deep, intentional belly breaths tell your brain: “We are safe right now.”
5️⃣ Hunt for Joy 🤗

Joy isn’t a luxury; it’s a survival tool. Find one small thing today that makes you smile—and don’t feel guilty for enjoying it.

Let’s build a toolkit together:
What is one “small win” or habit that helps you stay grounded when things feel chaotic? Drop it in the comments to help someone else today. 👇✨

Taking a trip down memory lane to 2016—a year that felt like one big adventure. ✈️ Looking back at these photos, I realize I traveled more that year than almost any other time!

From the skyline of New York City to the beautiful beaches of Bermuda, 2016 was all about exploring. 🌊 Whether I was horseback riding on the sand, visiting the aquarium, or even getting brave enough to hop on a karaoke stage, I was constantly on the move.

Between the trips, I was working harder than ever to grow my private practice. It’s funny to think about now, but back then, technology was so much more limited—everything was still paper charts and filing cabinets! 📝

I also celebrated a big birthday and a major milestone, all while making sure my love for animals stayed front and center—whether that was meeting local wildlife or hanging out with my favorite furry companion at home. 🐾

2016, you were exhausting, rewarding, and absolutely unforgettable. ✨

Self-love isn’t just a mood; it’s a practice. This January, we’re challenging you to move beyond the “idea” of self-care and start taking active steps toward self-kindness every single day. 🫂

Whether it’s your morning routine or the way you talk to yourself in the mirror, these small shifts create a massive impact on your mental well-being:
• Dress for your joy: Wear the outfit that makes you feel unstoppable. 👗
• Audit your inner voice: Swap a “should have” for a genuine compliment.
• Protect your peace: Spend time with the people who make your soul feel light. ☁️
• Run your own race: Your journey is unique—don’t trade your peace for comparison.
• Love without conditions: You are enough exactly as you are today.

Self-love month is the starting line, but the goal is to carry this warmth into February and beyond. 💕

The Challenge: Comment “ME” below if you’re making a conscious effort to choose yourself this month! ❤️

January marks Self-Love Month, a time to shift the focus inward. It’s easy to get caught up in the “New Year, New Me” hustle, but the most impactful growth happens when we lead with self-compassion rather than self-criticism.

What does self-love look like for you right now?
• Setting firm boundaries? 🛡️
• Speaking to yourself with more kindness? 🗣️
• Prioritizing mental health support? 🧠

Stop letting your inner critic act as the ultimate judge and jury of your life. ⚖️

Your self-worth isn’t something you have to defend or argue for every day. We get stuck because we mistake our repetitive thoughts for our actual identity. If a thought tells you you’re “less than,” remember that it’s just a neurological habit, not a universal truth. You don’t need to find more confidence; you just need to stop giving your power away to every doubt that crosses your mind. You are the sky, not the weather.

Is it just me, or did the first week of 2026 go by in a blur? 🌪️

Now that the holiday decorations are coming down and the “normal” routine is back, it’s common to feel a little pressure to perform, change, and achieve.

But here’s a professional secret: Real growth doesn’t happen in a sprint; it happens in the small, quiet choices we make every day.

If you’re already feeling behind on your goals, or if the “New Year energy” feels more like “New Year anxiety,” take a deep breath. You aren’t behind. You are exactly where you need to be.

This week, we’re focusing on pacing rather than perfection. What’s one way you can be kinder to yourself this Wednesday? Let me know in the comments. 👇

One week into 2026! 🌟 How are we feeling, Harrisburg?

The initial “New Year” rush can sometimes feel overwhelming, but remember: you don’t have to change your entire life in seven days. Every morning is a fresh chance to set an intention, breathe through the transitions, and choose joy.

Let’s keep that “fresh start” energy alive all year long, focusing on progress over perfection. ✨
What is one small thing you’ve done for your mental health so far this week? 🎆

It’s a weird paradox: The more you achieve, the more you feel like you’re faking it.

But here’s the perspective shift you need: Imposter syndrome is the shadow cast by your own growth. No sun, no shadow. No growth, no doubt. 🌑☀️

The late nights, the tough calls, the “I’ll figure it out” moments—those weren’t luck. That was you building your foundation. Next time that voice speaks up, remind it of your receipts.

You aren’t a fraud; you’re a pioneer in your own life. ✨

Double tap if you needed this reminder today! 🚀

01/07/2026

That “I have no idea what I’m doing” feeling? It’s lying to you. 🚩

We’ve all been there: You hit a milestone, land a new client, or finish a project, and instead of celebrating, you wait for the “mask” to slip. You start thinking it was just luck, or timing, or that you just happened to be in the right place at the right time.

But here’s the truth your brain is trying to hide: Imposter syndrome doesn’t visit people who stay in their comfort zones. It hits hardest when you’re leveling up. It is the shadow cast by your own growth. 📈

You didn’t just “fall” into your success.
• You did the late nights.
• You made the difficult decisions.
• You put in the work when no one was watching.

The next time that voice tells you you’re a fraud, remind it that you’re simply a student of your own potential. You belong in every room you walk into. ✨

Drop a “🚀” if you’re choosing to believe in your talent over your doubts today.
