Wisa Home of Care is currently seeking, mature, experienced, kind, and compassionate Spanish-speaking Caregivers to provide nonmedical in-home care to Seniors in York, Pennsylvania, and environs.

Essential functions

Performs personal care activities that assist the patient with activities of daily living which include (but not limited to):
Personal hygiene(assisting to bathroom or in using bedpan, bathing, care of mouth, skin, and hair
Ambulation
Medication reminders
Feeding
Dressing
Shaving
Provides companionship for the client: This includes accompanying clients on walks, trips to social/recreational activities, assistance with hobbies, etc
Provide transportation for errands and doctor's appointments.
Performs homemaking activities
You must have a valid driver's license, a good driving record, insurance and have a reliable vehicle. Must also pass a drug screen, have a clean criminal background, and have or obtain a current 2-step TB test.

Required experience:

Caregiver/ Home health Aide/ CNA: 1 year

Education:

High school graduate or G.E.D. certificate preferred.

Completion of a written Competency Evaluation that meets the State Licensing Law for home health agencies.

Current CPR Certificate is recommended.
