These beauts 😍

The first people I met when I uprooted and moved my life here.
Little did I know how lucky I was, and how important they would be.

If I tried to make my list of all the ways they've helped me I'd fall short. It's literally been everyday.

They stepped up during my health issues.
They helped plan, flew us, hiked a million snow capped miles, and even scaled a steep hillside to help me propose to my perfect wife 🥹
Carried suits and dresses through mountains for our wedding
Stood by us as we tied the knot

And on and on and on...

And now this.

Thanks to this amazing contribution the "Cutler-Petitjean Therapy Room" will be built and serve to do what they do best everyday, help people.

I thank you from the bottom of my heart, the people who this will benefit thank you, and is a part of you now too.

I love you both ♥️

♥️What a special person♥️

You never think at 40 years old that you're just beginning.

I've realized I'm just beginning a lot of things, but I'm really beginning to meet A-LOT of special people.

Sharon Emerson ranks high 🥇

Sharon, Meme, has been caring and watching after people 3x longer than she's not.

She's a mother, grand, and great.

In 87 years on this earth she has seen it all.

The good in people
The evil in people
The world turn over multiple times.

She's experienced more tragedy and loss than most of us will ever see.

But look at that amazing smile 😊

Sharon chooses to see the good, she encourages positive direction from everyone.

Addiction touches everyone, and she's seen it her whole life.

With her donation Day One Hope Center will be proudly opening the
"Edward and Sharon Emerson Occupational Therapy Room"

The namesake for her and her late husband "Poppa Ed"
who passed away in December of 2015.

Poppa Ed was always the engineer.
So much so he worked on our nations planes, trains, and other vehicles.

He loved not only figuring out how things worked, but why they worked, so that he could pass on his knowledge.

A true class act, and dearly loved by his family.

In the recovery world we see people everyday who have lost their will to move from their current dead life.

Like Poppa Ed and his planes, we will show them why, teach them how, and they can get moving on their own once again.

Thank you Ed and Sharon for being who you are.

We will continue your legacy at Day One, and always do our best to live up to your standards.

God trusted me to go through it and use it as my story. I went through it, but I fought the latter.

One day I went to a rehabilitation center.
It took every bit of me.
I was embarassed, ashamed, broken, and lost.

There was no room for me there.
I relapsed that day.

This repeated itself 2 more times.

I shouldn't have made it.

I am driven to open a facility that never turns anyone away.

This will be the place where broken people see Him and heal for the first time.
