We were privileged to attend the Welcome Home celebration for Honor Flight last evening, which held special significance for our group as our president, Norah Bertschy, was among the honored guests alongside her husband Lloyd. Both are veterans who served our country, and Norah continues to serve as the CNHG president.

We had an wonderful time at the Cincinnati Reds game on Nurse Appreciation Night, marked by celebration with the NKy Nurse Honor Guard, delightful weather, a fun atmosphere, amazing seats but an unimpressive game.

Today members of the Cincinnati Nurses Honor Guard had the privilege of attending the Flightless Honor Flight Welcoming Home event for veterans who are unable to travel to Washington, D.C.

We had a wonderful turnout of nurses who came to stand, show respect, and welcome these incredible veterans home. It was truly an honor to be part of such a meaningful and moving event. Seeing the smiles and being able to thank these heroes for their service made it a very rewarding day for all of us. 🇺🇸💙

Thank you to the organizers and to the veterans who have given so much for our country. It was a day we will not forget.
