๐Ÿ’œ A Reminder Tonight ๐Ÿ’œ

Sometimes our kids donโ€™t need a lecture.
Sometimes they donโ€™t need us to immediately fix the problem.

Sometimes they just need to know:
๐Ÿ’œ โ€œIโ€™m here.โ€
๐Ÿ’œ โ€œIโ€™m listening.โ€
๐Ÿ’œ โ€œYou can talk to me.โ€

The small moments of connection, reassurance, and understanding matter more than we realize.

Keep showing up for your kids โ€” even on the hard days.

๐Ÿ’œ You are not alone.

๐Ÿ’œ Sunday Reminder ๐Ÿ’œ

Today is a good day to slow down a little.

Put the phones down.
Spend time together.
Check in on your kids.
Listen a little longer.

Sometimes the moments that seem the smallest to us become the moments our children remember the most.

Our kids do not need perfect parents.
They need love, patience, understanding, and connection.

Take time for that today. ๐Ÿ’œ

๐Ÿ’œ Depression in Kids Is Real ๐Ÿ’œ

Not every child who is struggling will say โ€œIโ€™m depressed.โ€

Sometimes it looks like:
โ€ข withdrawing from family and friends
โ€ข changes in sleep or eating
โ€ข anger or irritability
โ€ข loss of interest in things they once loved
โ€ข struggling in school
โ€ข constantly saying theyโ€™re tired
โ€ข or simply not acting like themselves

As parents and as a community, itโ€™s important that we pay attention, listen, and create safe spaces for our kids to talk about what theyโ€™re feeling.

A child who feels supported and heard is more likely to reach out when they need help.

Letโ€™s continue breaking the stigma around mental health and reminding our youth they are not alone. ๐Ÿ’œ

๐Ÿ’œ A Reminder Today ๐Ÿ’œ

Mental health struggles do not always look the way people expect them to.

Sometimes it looks like withdrawal.
Sometimes it looks like anger.
Sometimes it looks like silence.
And sometimes it looks like a child simply trying to make it through the day.

Thatโ€™s why kindness, patience, and listening matter so much.

At Shatter The Stigma Foundation, our goal is to help create a community where kids and families feel supported, understood, and never alone in what theyโ€™re facing.

One conversation can make a difference.
One person who listens can make a difference.
One act of compassion can make a difference.

๐Ÿ’œ You are not alone.
