Our Legacy residents had such a bright day visiting the American Sign Museum.

Between the glowing neon signs, colorful displays, and nostalgic memories around every corner, it was so special watching faces light up throughout the tour. Residents shared stories, recognized familiar places from years past, and enjoyed learning the history behind so many iconic signs.

A huge thank you to the American Sign Museum for the warm welcome and for giving our residents such a fun afternoon full of memories, conversation, and a little extra glow ❤️

🌻 New Summer Event Coming to Harrison Trail!

We’re excited to announce the Harrison Trail Farmers Market — a fresh new summer event celebrating the best of the season!

Join us on Sunday, July 12 from 11:00 AM–3:00 PM for a day full of summer fun. More details will be coming soon!

We are currently looking for vendors to be part of the market. To reserve a vendor booth, a $25 donation is required, with all donations benefiting the Alzheimer’s Association.

What a beautiful day in the Legacy Courtyard at Harrison Trails.

Our residents spent the afternoon planting flowers, seeds, and filling our courtyard with so much life and color — and they truly did it themselves. From digging in the dirt to carefully choosing where every flower belonged, they poured their hearts into every planter. It was so special watching everyone work together and take pride in creating something beautiful for Legacy.

We are also so incredibly thankful for our amazing Legacy families who came out to spend the day with us, help plant, laugh alongside our residents, and make the courtyard feel full of love and connection. The support, kindness, and involvement from our families means everything to us, and days like this remind us just how special the Legacy community truly is.

A huge thank you to Chef Chloe for the beautiful coffee bar and treats that made the day feel even more special for everyone who joined us.

We were also deeply touched by a beautiful tiered planter dedicated in memory of Joyce, a beloved Legacy resident. Even after her passing last month, her family came back to help us plant, support our residents, and continue being part of our Legacy family. That kind of love leaves a lasting mark on all of us.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the incredible Moms of Harrison Trail! 💐

This weekend we celebrated with a special Blooming Bingo, where residents and families enjoyed an afternoon filled with fun, laughter, and plenty of beautiful plants and flowers to take home. 🌸🪴

Thank you to all of the families who joined us in celebrating the amazing women who have shared their love, wisdom, strength, and kindness with generations. We are so grateful to honor you today and every day.

¡Let’s fiesta! 🎉🌮 Cinco de Mayo at Harrison Trail brought the fun—Fiesta Bingo, margaritas, and a piñata that definitely didn’t go down without a fight! Residents showed off their bingo skills, enjoyed a festive sip (or two 😉), and took their best swing for some sweet rewards!

Safe to say…this party was a hit!

Gentlemen… start your engines! 🏁

Our annual Derby Car Race was one for the books! Throughout the month of April, our “Just the Guys” crew put their creativity and craftsmanship to the test—designing and building their very own personalized derby cars in preparation for the big day.

Race day brought the excitement as residents lined up, cheering loud and proud, watching each car speed toward the finish line. After an afternoon full of laughter, friendly competition, and unforgettable moments, we officially crowned our champion—Joe! 🏆

The celebration didn’t stop there… the guys headed to Hearth Brewing to enjoy well-earned pizza and beer, wrapping up a perfect day of camaraderie and fun. 🍕🍻

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped make this event so special—and a very special shoutout to our incredible Life Enrichment Associate, Marjie, for bringing this program to life and creating meaningful moments our residents will never forget.

Who knew a few mixed-up faces could bring so many smiles? 😄

Our Great Face Mash-Up Social Hour had residents putting their guessing skills to the test—trying to figure out which famous faces (and even a few familiar Harrison Trail friends!) were combined into one hilarious image. From celebrity surprises to community lookalikes, the room was filled with laughter, friendly competition, and unforgettable moments.

The fun didn’t stop—and neither did the smiles!

Happy Birthday Month to our very special Barney boy 💜🐾

Every Friday, Barney and his wonderful owner, Frank, walk through our doors and instantly fill our halls with warmth, comfort, and so many genuine smiles. There’s something so special about the love he brings—quiet moments of connection, joyful laughter, and hearts that feel just a little lighter because he’s near.

Celebrating Barney this month meant so much to all of us. He’s not just a visitor…he’s family. 🐶
