📣 This week, St. Vincent’s was honored with a Proclamation in recognition of 988 Awareness Day.

Westchester County Executive Ken Jenkins proclaimed September 8 as 988 Awareness Day and recognized September as Su***de Prevention and Awareness Month.

For the past three years, St. Vincent’s, a division of Saint Joseph’s Medical Center, has proudly served as the 988 Su***de & Crisis Lifeline call center for Westchester County, answering nearly 40,000 calls and providing life-saving support to those in need.

We thank County Executive Jenkins, the Department of Community Mental Health, and all our partners for helping raise awareness and breaking the stigma around mental health.

For the past three years, St. Vincent’s, has proudly served as the 988 Su***de & Crisis Lifeline center for Westchester County, answering nearly 40,000 calls and providing hope and support when it’s needed most.

After 43 remarkable years of service, Dean Harlam, MD, was honored with a retirement celebration 🎉 surrounded by colleagues and friends at St. Vincent’s Hospital Westchester. To commemorate his lasting impact, a tree 🌳 was planted and a plaque was placed in his honor.

Thank you to Westfair Business Journal for helping to share our success from the Annual Spring Sprint Run at St. Vincent’s Hospital Westchester, a division of Saint Joseph's Medical Center.

More than 400 people laced up their sneakers for the 16th Annual Spring Sprint on May 3, raising $76,000 to support mental health and addiction recovery services. Since the event began in 2010, it has raised nearly $1 million to help individuals on the path to healing. 💙

Hosted by the St. Vincent’s Hospital Auxiliary, the Spring Sprint benefits the comprehensive services offered by St. Vincent’s Hospital Westchester—including inpatient and outpatient mental health and addiction treatment, mobile crisis support, residential care for over 1,200 individuals, and opioid treatment centers in Westchester County and NYC.
