“This is a tribute to the front line residents and physician assistants in our Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Montefiore Hospital. They have been deployed to work in the COVID units for the past 2 months. Keep in mind that our hospital is in the epicenter of the epidemic. It is in the hardest hit state, in the hardest hit city and the hardest hit county, in the hospital with a very large number of affected patients. Way out of their comfort zone of orthopaedic surgery, they stepped up and showed incredible work ethic, tremendous courage and resolve. Each faculty member contributed a short video, that we put together into this message of gratitude.
