People always ask me "how do I lose the fat right here?" As they point to a specific area of their body. Unfortunately we can target where we want to lose fat, its a whole body "thing". Take the right steps and eventually, with time and patience that area will change.
Its all about the journey.
Think about how long it took you to get to where you are right now. Ok, now do you think you can just get back to your starting point over night? NO, its gonna take just as long or longer. We have to stop wanting instant gratification. We have to work for it.

At The Wave Tanning Studio we have a red light therapy bed.
Red Light Therapy helps your body do what it is naturally designed to do, but it sometimes has trouble doing. Release unwanted fat, detox efficiently, and heal from the inside out.
Red Light Therapy helps your body by boosting your Basal Metabolic Rate (calories you burn while at rest)
One way is by simulating the mitochondria of the cell, this is where our energy is produced. We need healthy mitochondria to have good energy. Red Light Therapy increases cellular output which can in-turn raise you BMR. Red Light Therapy can also decrease chronic inflammation. We know that inflammation can lead to insulin resistance. Red Light Therapy has anti inflammatory effects which can boost the glucose uptake in the cell.
It also helps with Muscle Recovery. It improves blood flow. This reduces oxidative stress and helps increase muscle mass when coupled with strength training. It helps in fat breakdown by increasing the mobilization of fat cells.
IF you are looking to get your body healed and healthy I'd say Give it a try, it does wonders. You have to do it regularly in order to see results.

There's different levels of readiness when it comes to making a change.
First - I dont really care I'm happy where I'm at and im not willing to make a change.
Second- I'm thinking about it but I'm not there yet. Not quite ready to take the first steps.
Third- I want to make a change but I just dont know how or where to start
Fourth- I'm so ready and willing to do what I need to do to make this happen.
Fifth- ITS GO TIME. I am fully committed. I am willing to work hard, do whatever I need to to get healthy and stay healthy.
You have to find where you are at in these levels of change. How much do you want this?? Are you willing to put in the work??

Guys, I've decided to take my Friday class off the schedule for now. Maybe later on I can add something back. I just haven't had enough people show up.

Things I have done over the past month that has helped me to create changes in my body.
▪️only drink water, take out any sugary drinks.
▪️boil eggs, keep the shell on them, and have them readily available.
▪️reduce my carb intake. I WAY OVEREAT carbs. Changing it to a reasonable amount, like veggies fruits mostly, has helped alot.
▪️adding in more, heavier strength training.
▪️eating MORE protein.
▪️taking a probiotic, l-carnitine, berberine and curcumin, an omega d3, and other supporting supplements religiously.
I have noticed the scale going down, my body feeling less bloated and inflammation, and I just feel better.
