At Blue Ridge in Harrisonburg, we are honored to walk alongside our residents as they work toward greater independence and engagement.

One of our residents reached an incredible milestone with the support of his devoted parents and the strong teamwork between our therapy and nursing departments, he has begun using his new power mobility chair.

He’s just starting to learn how to drive it, but the joy on his face says it all. These first moments of independent mobility represent something so much bigger: reconnecting with his surroundings, expanding his world, and opening the door to more social interaction and personal freedom.

We are proud to be part of his journey and grateful to serve our community here in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley.
