Meet Carrie Landis, Founder and Executive Director of Riverside Family Support. Carrie launched Riverside during the COVID-19 pandemic to provide essential educational and support services for families — a mission that continues today.

A Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Board-Certified Supervisor, and Certified Forensic Social Worker, Carrie brings a unique blend of expertise in education and social work. Her trauma-informed, strengths-based approach focuses on attachment, family preservation, and reunification.

With advanced training in EMDR, executive functioning, and attachment-focused interventions, Carrie is dedicated to helping families navigate complex systems with compassion and care. 💙

🐎 Now Offering: Equine Regulation Coaching at Riverside Family Support 🐎

Riverside Family Support is excited to introduce Equine Regulation Coaching, a therapeutic coaching experience designed to support emotional regulation, self-awareness, and relationship-building through guided interactions with horses at River Mountain Farm and Life Center

This service is structured to meet the needs of children, adolescents, and families who may benefit from a somatic, experiential approach to learning emotional control and relational dynamics. Horses are deeply attuned to human behavior and offer a powerful opportunity for insight, growth, and healing. ✨

Play safe and help keep others safe -- get tested! Call us at 540-217-0869 to make an appointment, or come by during our walk-in hours for FREE, nonjudgmental HIV and Hepatitis C testing conducted by peers in recovery.

➡️ Why get tested for HIV?
Find it early: Testing helps you find out if you have HIV before you get really sick.
Protect others: If you know you have HIV, you can take steps to keep others safe.
Feel better longer: HIV medicine can help you stay healthy for many years.
Avoid other problems: Treatment also helps prevent other serious illnesses.

Catch it early: You can have Hepatitis C and not feel sick. Testing helps find it early.
Protect your liver: Without treatment, it can hurt your liver badly.
Get cured: Today’s medicine can cure most people.
Stop the spread: Testing helps keep others from getting infected.
Check for both: Some people have both HIV and Hepatitis C. It's good to get tested for both.
