"It is with bittersweet feelings that I am leaving Harrisonburg, and Plena Integrative Health Center. When I started the journey to open my own practice in 2024, I was elated to share space with the team at Plena. Throughout my doctoral program, I often dreamed of working in a holistic health space, especially focused on women’s healthcare. The opportunity to be at Plena has been a dream, and I wish I could continue to share space here. For reasons in my personal life, I’m making the move to Richmond, VA. This has been a long and hard decision. It’s hard to leave a place that has meant so much to me and Harrisonburg has been a wonderful place to build a practice and career. I deeply value the clients who have given me the honor of being their therapist, and have allowed me to make my dream of opening my own practice a reality. It’s so hard to leave the team here with Tammie, Melody, and all of the nurses and office staff. Plena has been a dream team and office space. Thank you to Tammie and Melody for being such a wonderful home for Lawson Psychotherapy and my clients. I look forward to staying connected with Plena virtually, and am still available to Harrisonburg and Shenandoah Valley residents via telehealth.
