Harm reduction is about meeting people where they’re at—through prevention, risk reduction, health promotion, and compassionate support—so everyone has the chance to live healthier, self-directed lives.

Our services are available at our Community Resource Centers:

Harrisonburg Community Resource Center

At Strength In Peers, our Community Resource Center food pantries are designed for individuals and families experiencing homelessness or housing instability — many of whom don’t have access to a kitchen, refrigerator, or safe place to store food. Your donations make it possible for them to enjoy nourishing, ready-to-eat meals when they need it most.

✨ Some of the most-needed items include:

Canned fruits & veggies 🍎
Canned meats & beans
Cereal & instant oatmeal
Cups of noodles
Soups & stews
Granola & breakfast bars
Shelf-stable milk
