This week’s technique of the week is the Postural Restoration Institute Left Side Lying IO/TA with Left Adductor and Right Glute Max. The purpose of this exercise is to recruit the abdominal and adductor muscles on the left to better shift weight onto this side. It’s also an effective way to recruit your right glute max to improve the right swing phase of gait. Check out the video! Want to know if this exercise would be beneficial for you? Check out the technique of the week, the Postural Restoration Institute 90-90 Hip Lift. This exercise is great for restoring a neutral pelvic position (putting the hips back in place), for recruiting hamstrings, and promoting proper upright posture, just to name a few.
