March is Social Work Month, and we are proud to celebrate the incredible difference social workers make every single day — especially in home care, home health, and hospice.
In the home setting, social work is more than a service — it’s a lifeline.

Our social workers walk alongside patients and families during some of life’s most vulnerable moments. They provide emotional support during difficult diagnoses, help families navigate complex healthcare systems, connect patients to vital community resources, assist with advance care planning, and offer guidance through grief and loss.

They help remove barriers so patients can remain safely and comfortably at home — where healing often happens best. In hospice, they offer compassionate counseling, advocacy, and steady reassurance when families need it most.
They are advocates.
They are problem-solvers.
They are counselors.
They are educators.
They are anchors in times of uncertainty.

Because of social workers, care is not just clinical — it is compassionate, coordinated, and whole.
