Why does your skin freak out every time you travel?

It’s not just the change in schedule or jet lag. Your skin is reacting to environmental shifts, and fast.

Here’s what’s really going on

• Low humidity in planes (usually under 20%) pulls moisture straight from your skin
• Climate changes like hot to cold or humid to dry throw off your skin barrier
• Water differences like hard or soft water and high mineral content mess with how your products absorb
• Even if you’re using your same products, the environment your skin is in has changed.

The fix: Skin flooding 🙌🏻

Before you fly or head into a new climate, layer hydration to prep and protect your skin.

Start with
• Hydrating mist like GlyMed CBD Skin Mist

So you just got dermaplaned and now your skin’s a little red? Totally normal. Don’t freak out, your skin’s just saying, “Thanks for the fresh start.”

Dermaplaning removes the top layer of dead skin and peach fuzz with a sterile blade. Don’t worry, it’s not as intense as it sounds. What’s left behind? Smooth, glowing skin that drinks in your skincare like it’s the good stuff, because it is.

A little redness? Normal. Think of it like your skin just had a good workout. She’s flushed, refreshed, and thriving. The pinkness usually fades within a few hours, especially if you keep your post-care on point.

Now here’s what not to do after a dermaplane:
Don’t wear makeup for the rest of the day. Let her breathe.
Don’t use retinol, acids, or anything spicy for 24 to 48 hours.
Don’t forget your SPF. Seriously. No excuses.
