What if I want to be buried after I am cremated when I set up my pre-need planning? Under their pre-need planning, McCullough Raiguel has you choose between burial or cremation upfront (with casket vs. urn respectively). Though you can't physically bury the body after cremation, you can choose to bury or entomb the cremated remains:

Cremated remains can be placed in an urn and interred in a cemetery plot, niche, or family grave.

They can also be scattered, kept at home, or sent elsewhere—but if you want them buried, that’s absolutely possible.
