We loved being part of the Spring Into Opportunities Bardstown Community Fair on April 30th at the Kentucky Career Center!

A big shoutout to our Client Care Navigator, Jason Gabhart, for showing up and connecting with the community. Our CCNs are always out and about, meeting people where they are and helping connect them to the support they need.

If you see one of our team members in your community, don’t hesitate to stop and say hello, especially if you or someone you know could use help with drug or alcohol addiction.

Didn’t work the first time? You’re not alone... and it’s not the end of your story.

Jeremy Smith, one of our Recovery Housing Associates and an Isaiah House graduate, knows what it’s like to try, relapse, and feel like hope is slipping away. But he came back, and that decision changed his life.

Recovery isn’t always a straight path. Sometimes it takes more than one try. What matters is that you don’t give up.

If you’ve been there before, this is your reminder: you can come back. You can try again. And this time could be the one that changes everything.

IH Main in Willisburg, KY has always held a special place in our story. It’s one of our original campuses and will reopen in early May to serve as a vital home for the men in our long-term recovery program.

Over the past several weeks, we’ve completed extensive repairs and upgrades to ensure this facility is safe, comfortable, and ready to serve. This work included fresh paint, new flooring, drywall and ceiling repairs, as well as important updates to the roof and bathrooms. One section of the building was fully walled off to address structural needs and improve overall functionality.

We are incredibly grateful for the hard work and dedication of Robert Fairchild, our Director of Construction and Maintenance, and his entire crew. Their commitment and craftsmanship have transformed IH Main into a space that can now house around 70 of our long-term male clients.

Because of their efforts, this historic campus is ready to continue changing lives for years to come. 💙
If you or someone you love is struggling with addiction, there is hope. Isaiah House offers a full continuum of care for men and women, from residential treatment to long-term recovery programs.

There’s power in surrender. 🙏

In this video, Isaiah House Recovery Housing Associate Jeremy Smith shares how he prayed for God to release his heart and mind from everything weighing him down. When he fully surrendered - to God and to the recovery process - it changed everything. This time, treatment was different. And today, Jeremy continues to walk the path of lasting recovery.

“He will call on me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him.” — Psalm 91:15

No matter where you are in your journey, you’re not alone. There is hope, and it starts with taking that first step.

Yesterday, Michelle Maupin, Corinne Mattingly, Des Horn, Chelsea Monroe, and Kevin Horn had the opportunity to meet with the team at Hoskins Medical Center to strengthen collaboration around entry services and aftercare planning.

Together, the conversation focused on identifying gaps in the intake process, improving how we meet clients where they are, and addressing real barriers that can impact successful transitions after treatment. This partnership reflects a shared commitment to creating a more seamless continuum of care—ensuring individuals not only access the level of care they need at Isaiah House, but also have a strong, stable path to return to their community and continue services through Hoskins Medical Center.

This is a meaningful step forward in building a network of aligned providers dedicated to improving outcomes. By working together, we are strengthening both access and continuity of care for those we serve.

If you or a loved one needs help, we’re here. Call us today at 859-375-9200 or visit isaiah-house.org to learn more.

Isaiah House CEO Kevin Horn had the honor of speaking at the Mercer County Mapping Conference on Tuesday, hosted by the Kentucky Judicial Commission on Mental Health.

This important gathering brought community partners together to discuss available mental health resources, identify gaps, and collaborate on meaningful solutions to better serve those in need. Last night, something truly special happened at Mercer County Senior High School. 💛

Our ladies had the incredible opportunity to attend *The Wizard of Oz*, and this year’s production carried an even deeper meaning. The role of the Scarecrow was played by Brayden Branam, the son of former Isaiah House client Amy Branam. Amy’s journey is one of transformation and hope, and her connection to Isaiah House continues today through her heart for giving back. Seeing her son shine on stage, pouring his heart into a performance that means so much to him, was powerful beyond words.

This was Brayden’s senior year, his final production at MCSHS, and you could feel the weight and beauty of that moment. For years, he has made it a priority to put on a private performance for the women of Isaiah House, and he shared that this audience is the most meaningful to him. Watching him take the stage one last time, knowing what this tradition represents, was deeply moving.

Adding to the experience, Dorothy was beautifully portrayed by Kali Sepko, daughter of our very own Compliance Director, Whittney Bland. A few nights before the show, Brayden, Kali, and Toto visited Isaiah House and invited our ladies to reflect on what “home” means to them. Their words were written on yellow “bricks” and displayed at the performance, alongside a “yellow brick road” filled with messages of encouragement, hope, and healing.

Another inspiring element of the evening was the presence of 4 Paws for Ability. Through Brayden’s service project, these incredible service dogs and their handlers reminded us of the many different paths to healing, and the companionship that can make all the difference along the way.

The themes of *The Wizard of Oz*, courage, heart, home, and the journey, mirror so beautifully the road our women are walking every day. Recovery is not easy, but like Dorothy’s journey, it is filled with moments of connection, growth, and the realization that hope has been within reach all along.

We are so grateful to be part of a community that shows up with love, creativity, and purpose. Thank you to everyone who made this night unforgettable.

If you or someone you love is seeking a path to healing, we’re here to help.
