Why use a direct-pay chiropractor?
Transparency in pricing. You always know ahead of time what the cost will be, and I do not believe in over treating. I do not charge additional fees for exams. However, because of this, I am not able to treat Medicare recipients.
More time with your chiropractor. High volume insurance offices to not allow the chiropractor to dedicate as much time to patient care. I spend my time focused on my patients, and am able to give recommendations on exercises, nutrition, and lifestyle, improving patient outcomes.
No insurance hassles. Often insurance company policies will dictate to the doctor the frequency and types of care provided. In addition, chiropractic services are often poorly covered by insurance with high co-pays and deductibles.

Gardening is one of the best therapies. I love the dirt and sunshine. Some basic preventative habits can help you spend more time in the sun and less time in my office. Here are some easy tips to keep your body happy while you play with your plants:

Warm Up a Bit: Take a few minutes to stretch or walk around before diving into gardening. It helps!

Lift Smart: When lifting those heavy pots or bags, bend your knees and bring the item close to your body before standing up. Better yet, get help. Buddy lifting saves backs!

Kneepads: Trust me, your knees will thank you for using some comfy kneepads or a soft kneeler.

Break Time: Don’t forget to switch tasks and take regular breaks. Your body needs you to change positions often.

Ergonomic Tools: Look for tools with ergonomic handles—they make a world of difference for your hands and wrists.

Long-Handled Tools: Use tools with long handles to help keep your posture upright while working.
