How to walk on ice:
1. Wear the most slip resistant shoes that you own.
2. Use the penguin walk bent slightly forward at the waist to keep your center of gravity over your feet. Point your toes slightly outward and take short, flat-footed steps to keep your body centered over your feet.
3. Walk slowly and keep focused on what you are doing. Do not put your hands in your pockets or carry too much.
4. If you start to fall, try to roll with it rather than stiffening up. Keep your head tucked and try to land on a softer part of your body, avoiding falling on your hands or hitting your head.
