It is almost time for the kids to be heading back to school and it is important to remember backpack safety. Heavy backpacks, school sports, and hours of homework can place a strain on your child's back. A backpack should weigh no more than 5-10% of a child's weight. The correct size is never wider or longer than your child's torso and never hanging more than 4 inches below the waist.
