Since its inception, the hallmark of the Hartford Gay and Lesbian Health Collective has been the provision of quality services by professional and highly skilled staff and volunteers in a safe and affirming environment, free of judgmental attitudes or prejudice. The Hartford Gay and Lesbian Health collective currently provides medical services, support groups, mental health services and health education tailored to the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender communities but serves clients of all genders and gender identities, sexual orientations, ages and ethnicity. The Hartford Gay and Lesbian Health Collective is especially proud of its services to people living with HIV/AIDS. The Hartford Gay and Lesbian Health Collective is an advocate for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender issues and is proud to maintain a prominent presence at meetings, events and venues where issues of relevance to HGLHC's constituency are discussed, decided or celebrated.

IMPORTANT REMINDER: SOGIEcon 2026 will now be held on March 18–19, 2026 at UConn Storrs. After recognizing a potential overlap with Eid al-Fitr, we partnered with the University to adjust our schedule so more members of our community can fully participate.

We’re proud to announce updated dates for True Colors SOGIEcon 2026: March 18–19 at UConn.

As Ramadan began, we recognized our original schedule could overlap with Eid al-Fitr. True Colors has always been about creating a space where every young person and every community member feels affirmed and included, so we made a change.

Because that’s what community does.

Join us for a great night out while supporting neighbors in our community experiencing food insecurity. With a $10+ donation, you’ll get a wristband for drink & food specials throughout the evening.

SOGIEcon is returning March 19–20 at UConn Storrs, and we’re looking for caring, reliable volunteers to help create a safe, welcoming, and joyful experience for LGBTQ+ youth and educators from across the region.
