In Jordan, my home country, organ donation is strictly limited to related living donors. Donation after determination of neurologic death (DNDD) is essentially nonexistent. The total number of heart and/or lung transplants has been zero over the years. We hope to educate the public and erase the misconceptions regarding this topic via USJOtransplant initiative.
