Flashback Friday today… we have two regionally trained anesthesiologists that are doing your nerve blocks before surgery, a senior anesthesia resident who is doing the anesthesia for your aortic valve replacement, a CRNA who delivers excellent anesthesia intraoperatively and a pain physician who is doing your nerve ablation procedure. I will tag who they are in one week. Brownie points to those that can guess correctly. Have a great weekend!

Congratulations to the incomparable Dr. Gwendolyn Moraski on being honored with the 2024 distinguished physician award. Dr. Moraski was the first woman anesthesiologist at Saint Francis hospital and currently plays an important role in both the Woodland Anesthesiology Associates and Saint Francis Hospital leadership. We celebrated her accomplishments at the medical staff dinner this past Saturday. Congratulations to our 👑👸🏼Dr. Moraski!

Thank you for allowing us to participate in a magical evening 09/23/2023 at the annual regional gala, Making Miracles Happen. It was smiles all around, celebrating with 700 fellow clinicians, supporters, community members and leaders, recognizing the hard work we all do to take care of our communities throughout Connecticut and western Massachusetts.
