I was invited to Incyte to view the new clinical data for future medications that are set to come out. When I tell you this is amazing for patients this is amazing for patients. Can’t wait for those who struggle with vitiligo and HS to have more options and better clinical outcomes.

As I reflect on my week many comments play in my mind. Being in medicine is hard. Someone might be saying goodbye to me because I may not see them again and I’m holding tears back or actually crying with them and I pull it together to go into the next room with a smile and hear amazing news and celebrate with the next person. We hold patient secrets, fears, burdens, and stories. Which is a privilege. But it also can be hard. For everyone be kind. You don’t know everyone’s whole story. They may be having the worst day or heard the worst news.
