Let's Move More for Fall Prevention

Falls Prevention Week is a national health campaign dedicated to raising awareness about the risks of falls and how they can be prevented, particularly among older adults. It is observed during the first week of fall each year, with National Fall Prevention Awareness Day falling on September 22. The week aims to educate the public, healthcare professionals, and caregivers about fall related injuries, promote injury prevention strategies, and encourage proactive steps to ensure the safety and well-being of individuals at higher risk of falls.

Thank You, Hartford!!

Hundreds of Hartford residents joined us on Saturday at the Discovering Hartford Indoor Family Fun Fair & Expo, and together, we made it an unforgettable day.

From free school supplies, food, and refreshments, to activities, games, prizes, and housing resources, this event was all about community, connection, and preparing for a strong back-to-school season.

A heartfelt thank you to all the Hartford residents who attended, to our Community Voice Team, and to the dedicated volunteers who gave their time and energy.

We are especially grateful to our sponsors and partners, including Mutual Housing Association of Greater Hartford, the Hispanic Health Council, Liberty Bank, Advocacy to Legacy, and many others, for making this event possible.
