A sweet newborn came to see me after going one full week without a bowel movement😣

Mom was told it was “normal” for babies to go 7-14 days without pooping.

‼️Let’s clear something up: It’s NOT normal for babies to go 7-14 days without pooping.

It’s officially that time of year🍁

When a child’s nervous system is dysregulated or primitive reflexes haven’t fully integrated, it can impact everything in the classroom.

You might see:
🚨 trouble sitting still (fidgeting, squirming)
🚨 poor focus and attention
🚨 easily irritated by peers around them
🚨 not completing assigned tasks
🚨 difficulty with handwriting, reading, or tracking words
🚨 emotional outbursts or frequent meltdowns
🚨 difficult with transitioning from one activity to the next
