The first generation of apostles came through the evangelical church. For that reason it differed little from what people had come to know as the New Testament church. The shift the Lord had in mind was that His apostles’ would move from under evangelical theology and doctrine to the reestablishment of the mantle that brought us the New Testament. Upon this mantle is Christ’s New Creation ecclesia founded.
