Last week, members of Connecticut Children's Connection gathered for a “Shark Tank”-style event featuring 4 cutting-edge pediatric healthcare research proposals. After thoughtful evaluation and passionate discussion, members awarded two $60,000 grants to innovative researchers whose work has the potential to shape the future of pediatric medicine.

Congratulations to James Healy, MD, MHS and Jonathan A. Salazar, MD on being selected as this year’s grant recipients!

This funding will help power research that will advance medical knowledge and can improve the lives of countless children right here in our community.

Interested in joining Connecticut Children’s Connection? Join us on June 11 for our kickoff reception and an exclusive tour of Connecticut Children’s new eight-story Clinical Tower.

Memorial Day weekend is the unofficial start of summer — but for pediatric trauma teams, it can also mean more preventable crashes, injuries, and lives changed forever. 💔

Having “just one more” drink can lead to more than you think.

This weekend, make a plan before you celebrate. Protect the kids, families, and communities counting on you to make it home safely.

Because our doctors and nurses never want to say, “We did everything we could.”

Say it with us: Not one more. 🙏
