Damalia's was created on my journey to find inner peace and self-love.I needed something for me. I needed something to help me manage my mental health. I struggled with depression, and grief for so long that I needed an outlet. Not being a mom, my 9 to 5 etc. but, for me!

Candle making is where i found my passion and purpose, and has brought me so much joy! I never imagined stirring wax could help me escape my emotional pain and insecurities. And it it has since become so much MORE. I have a community of women whom I get to uplift and inspire.

I couldn't have done this without you all! No matter what you show up for me even when I don't show up for me. Those who push me, and hold me accountable are the real MVP's.

I have several goals for 2022 but, my biggest goal is to remain consistent and resilient despite what maybe thrown my way. I'm coming for everything my fears held me back from‼️

My one wish for you is to always remember to put YOU first. Your self-care should always be essential to YOU

5 years later and the West Elm community still shows me the same love. I was exhausted today, but as soon as my feet were planted my feet in a place I call "home", I felt so alive! It was a great reminder why I'll continue to passion and perseverance drive me. Today was a good day
