Community Health Services Community Health Services, Inc. (CHS) is a private nonprofit 501 (c)3 FQHC in Hartford, CT.

Services provided at CHS include Adult Medicine, Pediatrics/Adolescent Medicine, Behavioral Health, Dental Care, Optometry, Podiatry, Social Services, laboratory services and Arrow Pharmacy, all on site.

Our 2025 Christmas Toy Drive has recently concluded with resounding success! CHS was able to provide gifts to more than 200 children and hundreds of families in our community. Santa ๐Ÿง‘โ€๐ŸŽ„ and Mrs. Claus ๐Ÿคถ were on hand to greet the children and their families, making the day even more special.

What an amazing time we had! We would like to express our sincere gratitude to our dedicated Outreach Team, all of our staff and volunteers, and our generous community supporters. Each October, we come together to raise awareness about breast cancer, honor survivors, and remember those we have lost. Breast cancer is the most common cancer among women worldwide, but with education, early detection, and access to care, lives can be saved.

At Community Health Services (CHS), we are committed to:

Amid the SNAP EBT crisis this month, our lines at the bi-weekly food pantry are longer and shelves are bare. We are also working to provide hundreds of Hartford families with a warm turkey dinner and all the fixings.
