We are reminded of the importance of embracing one another’s full, authentic selves — every day.

Dwayne and Nikiea also led the way in organizing this vibrant Pride resource table, filled with resources, flags, and giveaways to celebrate love, visibility, and belonging. 🏳️‍⚧️🎉

Community Health Workers from CHCACT will now also be at CHS every Tuesday from 10AM to 2PM, in addition to every Friday from 10AM to 2PM in the first-floor lobby, enrolling patients in Access Health CT (for those who are eligible). Residents may also be able to enroll at any time through Access Health CT if they qualify for special enrollment periods or experience life-changing events. During this week, IHI seeks to advance important discussions locally and globally, and inspire action to improve the safety of the health care system — for patients and the workforce.

Our annual Christmas Toy Drive has recently concluded with resounding success! CHS provided gifts to over 300 children and a hundred families in the community! Santa🎅 and Mrs. Claus🤶 greeted the children and their families, and we even had a surprise visit from the Grinch! What an awesome time we had! We want to express our gratitude to the dedicated Outreach Team, all our staff and volunteers from , generous community supporters, ; thank you! You all came together to ensure that every child, especially those facing challenging circumstances, experienced the joy of the holiday season. 😍🎅🎄🎁🤶😍
