We are pleased to introduce the first in a series of workshops presented by Yoga In Our City!

🌿 Rooted in Resilience — A mindful beginning for community care and healing.

Led by Nikki Adams , Trauma-Informed Yoga & Mindfulness Facilitator (E-RYT 500, YACEP), participants will explore rest as resistance, care as connection, and healing as a collective journey through gentle yoga, embodied mindfulness, journaling, and reflection.

🌟Date: Saturday, August 30, 2025
🌟Time: 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
🌟Location: Park Street Library @ The Lyric, Hartford

There is no cost to this workshop- but space is limited; advance registration required.

This workshop is accessible to all experience levels and is designed to foster a supportive environment for personal and community well-being.

The Happy Warrior 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training returns this October!
Become a certified yoga teacher with a training rooted in equity, trauma sensitivity, and collective healing.This training is for those ready to deepen their practice, support community well-being, and step into leadership with intention and purpose.

Through a blend of online and in-person sessions, we come together to study, reflect, and grow alongside others who believe that these healing practices should be accessible to all.

🗓Schedule: Select Friday evenings virtually and select Saturday & Sundays in-person.

Out of care for our community’s well-being, we are temporarily pausing classes in Waterbury this week due to recent events impacting safety in the parks.

Mental Health Connecticut & Yoga In Our City teamed up to bring the benefits of seated yoga to participants from MHC’s Independence Center!

With guidance from Yoga In Our City, this class made movement, mindfulness, and relaxation accessible to all, showing that yoga is for every body, at every mobility level.⁠
