I’m just a kid from Park Street.
A place where sirens were louder than dreams some nights… where struggle wasn’t a chapter, it was a daily reality. But it was also a place of resilience, of culture, of people who loved hard even when life was harder.
Everything I am today was shaped by those streets. The lessons, the losses, the moments that forced me to grow up faster than I should have. And even now, no matter where life takes me, I carry Park Street with me, in how I speak, how I serve, and how I love.
Education gave me opportunity, but my community gave me identity. It taught me strength, humility, and responsibility. Because making it out was never the goal… making a way for others is.
I don’t do this for recognition. I do it for the kid who’s still there, trying to figure it out. The one who needs to see that it’s possible. The one who needs someone to come back and remind them: you matter, your story matters, and your future is bigger than your circumstances.
I’m just a kid from Park Street… and I’ll never forget it.
