Lets use 🏃♂️🏃🏃♀️ as an example: as we move through the different phases of a running stride, the forces our body has to deal with at the hip, knee, and ankle vary, from high to almost 0 at points
As our feet return to the ground, our muscles have to protect our joints by decelerating our body mass (even just within a split second, you dont even notice) and then begin another stride by pushing against the ground propelling us forward 💨💨
Think about how many strides you take in a single running session, or in your 3-4 running sessions per week: if you think about the total forces you need to either combat or create, it takes a lot of muscular effort, combining both endurance and strength 💪
